She posed for the cameras wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos, that’d we all die for. Then, while the cameras were still clicking, she boldly removed her heels and walked the rest of the red carpet barefoot.

This is not the first time that the Twilight star has spoken up about the arcane dress code. In 2016, Stewart told Vanity Fair that this policy needed to change saying: “Does he have to wear heels? It can work both ways. It’s just like you simply cannot ask me to do something that you are not asking him to do.”

Rihanna believes in celebrating all types of bodies, by creating her makeup line, Fenty Beauty that offers more than 40 different foundation shades and her new lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, that will provides sizes up to 44DDD.

Rihanna told Vogue in a interview last week how she deals with the body-shaming trolls online: “I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.” Body positivity goes a long way, stop taking yourself so serious and learn to love your body.

Just watching her in action, reminds all of us that we have the power inside of us to change the world. Emma has taken social media by storm as her main media for empowering women worldwide. On a live Facebook feed in 2015 she said: ” Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do, or cannot achieve. Do not allow it.”

 

Angelina Jolie

Addressing the fact that there is a global epidemic of violence against women, which is often treated as a lesser crime and lower priority, she stated that we need more women defending women’s rights.

Empowering women worldwide by stating: “There is no greater pillar of stability than strong, free and educated women. And there is no more inspiring role of a man who respects and cherishes women and their leadership.”
